As part of a comic series, this piece appropriates images from historical print sheets to address Puerto Rico's colonial relationship with the United States through references to Spanish colonization. Here, my character spray-paints the walls of El Morro with phrases like "Abolish Act 60" and "Viva PR Libre," under the watch of colonial figures. The message is clear: abolish Act 60.
